Sophie Meiers, based out of Durango, Colorado, is eighteen years old and already making a splash in the music world working alongside producers Dylan Brady and Clayjay. Her debut EP is set to come out this Fall via Cobalt.
The track Meiers released today, “Fade Away,” is one she worked on with Lil Peep producer, Lederrick. The track is a personal one she explained, saying “it’s a bittersweet confessional about isolation and my relationship with feeling impermanent. ‘As long as my heart’s still beating I’m okay’ is a mantra that I tell myself when shit gets rough.”
