Smashing Pumpkins has announced a new tour this summer, including vocalist Billy Corgan, guitarist James Iha and drummer Jimmy Chamberlin. It will be the first tour the band has scheduled since 2000, and the band’s original bassist will not be joining the trio. The band will be playing hits from their early and most successful albums like, Gish, Siamese Dreams, Adore, and Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness.
The newest El Paso band, Fallex, is set for their debut album release party at the Lowbrow Palace. Their album Space was partially recorded in at Sonic Ranch and at Victoria Records in Monterrey, Mexico.
Courtney Barnett announced her new album, Tell Me How You Really Feel, will be released May 18, on Milk! Records. Along with the album release date, the Australian rocker also announced some tour dates for the album along with the first single off the album, “Nameless, Faceless.”
Caroline Rose’s forthcoming album, Loner, will be out February 23 on New West Records. Three singles from the album, “Soul No. 5,” “Money,” and “Getting to Me,” had previously been released ahead of the album. Rose will kick off the tour for the new in Woodstock, New York, at the beginning of March.
The Canadian dream pop band, Living Hour, announced today that their next EP, Lovely, Lonely: A Collection Of Covers For Hollow Hearts EP. The EP, which will be out on March 2, features covers from different artists and comes alongside tour dates.
