The 25 year-old Chicago based artist, Matt Muse, announced his new album Nappy Talk will be out July 13th. Muse’s music aims to delve into deeper issues like Black self-love and self critical investigation.
He is also a teaching artist at Young Chicago Authors, the organization that has brought up artists like Saba, Jamila Woods, Chance the Rapper, Mick Jenkins, and many others. “Shea Butter Baby,” a track from the album featuring Shawnee Dez is also available to stream now.
