The Philadelphia band Nothing, fronted and created by Dominic “Nicky” Palermo, stopped by the Lowbrow Palace in downtown El Paso, TX as part of their latest tour. These dates come with the release of a short history of decay, the band’s fifth solo album and the first under new label Run For Cover. The new album released February 27th and the tour will run until April.
On this tour, Nothing is bringing a full ticket with them. VMO, also known as Violent Magic Orchestra, as well as Cryogeyser and fullbody2 are all listed on the current dates. The tour kicked off in Japan with two shows at the beginning of March and runs until April 18th in Barcelona, Spain.
This new album is the end of an arc for the band as Nothing’s frontman, Nicky Palermo, explained. He called it “a final chapter” not for the band but for an era that’s been going on since the inception of the band in 2014. Although originally a bedroom project for Palermo started in 2010, Nothing’s debut album started four years later.
Nothing are Nicky Palermo, Doyle Martin, Bobb Bruno, Zachary Jones, and Cam Smith.
