Following a Near-Fatal Accident, Harmless Shares New Single and Video from Upcoming EP

Mexico city born artist, Nacho Cano, aka Harmless, just announced the release of a new EP, A Donde Te Vas, which will be out during the fall of 2018. From the EP, Harmless shares the lead single, “Linda,” accompanied by the video.

Cano was born in Mexico City, and moved to San Diego, California, at the age of 10. Last year he was involved in a drunk driving accident that resulted in the production of his upcoming EP.

“A drunk driver, going 50 or so mph, T-boned me while I was driving my bike to work,” said Cano in a press release. “Shortly before the accident I finished a short EP based on what, at the time, I thought was the most painful experience of my life. Hardy-har, it was a break up from a long term relationship. Trust me, after what I’ve been through, worse things can happen in life than getting your heart broken.”

According to Cano, the EP is about the loneliness he felt culturally and romantically while being in the U.S. at the time. “Not having a girlfriend made me realize how cold the United States can be. Americans communicate interpersonal and intimate comfort differently than in Mexican culture. The music is representative of that realization,” he said.
