Scott Stapp Rocks with KLAQ in New El Paso Rock Fest

Scott Stapp of Creed was the top of a ticket along with Poppy, Dead Poet Society, and Hooked Like Helen that performed in downtown El Paso at Southwest University Park.

This new rock reunion is organized by the premium and staple rock music station in El Paso, KLAQ, and takes place at the home of the local Triple-A baseball team, the El Paso Chihuahuas.

About the festival, KLAQ listed on their site that they hope the festival can come to be an annual tradition similar to El Paso Street Fest, another festival they use to organize and host in the same part of downtown El Paso and had featured a wide range and variety of rock acts such as Kansas, Neon Trees, Hinder, and many more.

The headliner this year was Scott Stapp, Creed frontman. He had fellow rockers head-banging and jumping across the portion of the field with festival goers as well as fans singing along up the stands of the park.
