The Beths Announce Debut Album And Release Eponymous Lead Single

Not too long after having signed with Carpark Records and reissuing their debut EP, the Beths have announced the release of the debut full-length album, Future Me Hates Me. The eponymous track “Future Me Hates Me” was also released via stereogum today.

Elizabeth Stokes shows off her songwriting talent with Courtney Barnett-like lyrics that would be overly analytical and maybe intellectual were it not for their simple and straightforward presentation that is reminiscent of Alex Lahey or Best Coast.

The Beths will kick off a world tour in support of Future Me Hates Me this week in Europe before heading to the U.S. next month.
