Natalia Jiménez Brings Her ‘Gala Mexicana’ Tour to El Paso: Photo Gallery 9.20.24

During a totally sold-out September string of dates, Natalia Jiménez stopped by El Paso, TX with her large mariachi ensemble to perform at the Abraham Chavez Theatre. The show comes ahead of her forthcoming album and tribute to José Alfredo Jiménez aptly titled ‘Jiménez a Jiménez’.

The Spanish-born, Mexican singer also celebrated her latest release “Deja Que Salga la Luna (En Vivo)” on the same day.

Originally from Madrid, Jiménez rose to fame as the singer of popular Spanish band La Quinta Estación; she then moved to Mexico where she moved nearly two decades ago. Her solo debut album released in 2011, but her musical trajectory is one that has been as varied as it has been concise in its tributes and homages to Mexican music.

She has put out an album in tribute to the late Jenni Rivera. In her album México de mi corazón, she featured artists such as Paquita la del Barrio, Carlos Rivera, Pedro Fernández, Banda MS, Lila Downs, and she received permission to use choirs with Juan Gabriel.
