Today marks the one month anniversary of Motel Radio’s debut album, Siesta Del Sol. The album, whose title comes from a song the band heard together at a bar in Marfa, TX, is the band’s debut album.
The Los Angeles born band recently started their latest tour alongside Seattle band Versing. The tour comes in support of their latest album, Duress, out now via Wichita Records.
It becomes difficult to point out the standouts in the track listing due to the fact that each song on the album is split into sub-songs of their own, however, never taking advantage of the time they are given, Club Night fills each corner of the time they are given with beautiful instrumentation and lovely vocals to accompany.
The prolific musician, Ty Segall, has announced residencies in New York, Los Angeles, and in various cities in Europe that will range from July into October. He will be joined by the Freedom band.
Canadian emo/pop-punk band, PUP, have released their third full length album titled Morbid Stuff, a title that more than describes this album as a whole. Within the opening moments of the album, PUP delivers a lyrically angst filled with ridiculously dark and somewhat humorous situations the protagonist gets involved in.

Helms Alee are set to release their latest album, Noctiluca, this Friday April 26th via Sargent House. The band will also embark on tour this summer with Earth this summer and a couple of dates with the Melvins.
