The latest album of Khruangbin’s, Como Me Quieres, matched the sound that their listeners have come to love them for which is a mixture of influences from around the globe. Como Me Quieres, now out via Dead Oceans/Night Time Stories, was also a dedication to the band’s bassist, Laura Lee’s grandfather. The latest video from the album is for the title eponymous track, “Como Me Quieres,” and features footage shot around the world.
A Place To Bury Strangers released the video to the single “Too Tough To Kill,” a track from their latest album Pinned, which came out via Dead Oceans. The album was the band’s fifth studio album and with video now out, the band prepares to kick off more tour dates.
Indie breakout Mitski, has announced the follow up to her 2016 hit album Puberty 2, Be The Cowboy, will be out August 17 via Dead Oceans. With the news came the lead single from the album, “Geyser.” The track is a melody that is simultaneously harrowing and soothing.
The Grammy-nominated and Brit award-wining singer/songwriter, Laura Marling, and Mercury prize-wining producer and founding member of Tunng and Throws, Mike Lindsay, have teamed up and announced their collaborative album, LUMP. The album will be released on June 1, via Dead Oceans.
