The latest album of Khruangbin’s, Como Me Quieres, matched the sound that their listeners have come to love them for which is a mixture of influences from around the globe. Como Me Quieres, now out via Dead Oceans/Night Time Stories, was also a dedication to the band’s bassist, Laura Lee’s grandfather. The latest video from the album is for the title eponymous track, “Como Me Quieres,” and features footage shot around the world.
The video’s footage is from Thailand, Turkey, Afghanistan, Iran, Mexico, Chile, China, France, South Africa, Senegal, Ethiopia, Ecuador, India, and more – all on September 17th, the birthday of Laura Lee’s grandfather.
Khruangbin will be supporting Leon Bridges on tour this fall.
