Lonnie Holley announced his new album, MITH, will be out September 21st via Jagjaguwar Records, whom he recently signed with. Along with the album announcement comes the first track off the album, “I Woke Up in a Fucked-Up America.”
The album was recorded over five years across seas in places such as Porto, Portugal; Cottage Grove, Oregon, New York City, and Holley’s adopted hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. Also featured in the album are contributions from Laraaji, Nelson Patton, Richard Swift, Sam Gendel and Shahzad Ismaily, Anna & Elizabeth and Courtney Hartman (Della Mae).
Holley will tour with Animal Collective across the U.S ahead of the album.
