Katie Von Schleicher‘s new album, Consummation, will be out May 22nd via Ba Da Bing and the latest single “Wheel” is now out along with an accompanying music video shot entirely remotely and features other womxn and nonbinary artists joining a group performance of the new song.
The video was directed by V Haddad, who said about the video, “When I listened to Katie’s song ‘Wheel’ I immediately felt elated, connected and empowered. Her lyrics lead me to imagine what those feelings could look like in this moment: we reached out and collaboratively made a music video with 25 people who created their own video-portraits of their life right now.”
Von Schleicher will be donating the budget for the music video to Safe Horizon, an organization who provides support for victims of and prevents domestic abuse.
