Kumbia Queers Return With “Lucky” New Single

Iconic cumbia-punk rockers Kumbia Queers released their latest single “Toco Madera” earlier this month. The Argentinian band, now in their 15 plus years together, continue to highlight the unique blend of genre their music has been so synonymous in this track which the band called “a call to luck”.

The band also celebrated their exhibition “PARAÍSO TROPIPUNK – la muestra de Kumbia Queer” at the Para Vos Norma Mia in Argentina. The exhibition was a deep dive into the band’s formation and existence featuring stories, records, political actions, and discussions.

Kumbia Queers consists of Pilar Arrese, Inés Laurencena, Patricia Pietrafesa, Rocktavia, and Juana Chang. They have been a following aroundthe globe touring in countries from Argentina to Chile, USA, Uruguay, Mexico, and Europe. Their shows are famous for for being loud and energetic.
