San Antonio rockers Girl in a Coma returned to the Lowbrow Palace. This is their second show in the Sun City since reuniting for a festival in 2024 and ultimately going on a tour to kickoff 2025. This tour, which brought along “ugly pop” rockers Skating Polly, runs until April 11th.
With a second tour in as many years, this time Nina Diaz assured crowd members of new music soon to come. During the years long hiatus of Girl in a Coma, each member in the band stayed busy.
Phanie Diaz and Jenn Alva formed Fea, another punk outfit that released two records and is also still active. Nina released a couple of solo albums. The heavy sleight of work had many wondering if the band would ever come together again, let alone if they’d be able to release new music.
