Paulina Sotomayor is part of the sister-brother duo known as Sotomayor, a pairing that has risen in music scenes across the globe. Now she returns as Pahua, her solo project, by sharing the single “Vayayó”. The single is the first from a forthcoming debut EP set for release early 2021.
About the song out via Nacional Records, Pahua said “this track speaks of following your instinct down the right path. In this case “Vayayo” is the name of the light and hope that has guided me through life, bringing fulfilment and awareness of what is most important”.
Ramon Perez-Prieto of the Peruvian band Novalima co-produced “Vayayó” and it was mastered by Robert Strauss at Wax Studios in the UK.
Pahua’s EP, Ofrenda, is set for release early 2021 while the video for the lead single is set for release this Friday, November 21st.
