The San Marcos-based alternative band, Blue October, announced a show at the Plaza Theatre in El Paso, TX later this year. The show will be their second stop of a North American tour of almost 20 dates and that starts and ends in Texas. The band also released the “We Know Where You Go” music video.
Blue October is ramping up for this next tour. They released these initial tour dates with more coming soon, with a music video buried for four years. “We Know Where You Go” was shot four years ago, the band said in an Instagram post. It serves to the band’s persistence and spontaneity, having been recorded at 3am in a motel in Alburquerque, NM.
The band had another cause for celebration. May 10 of this year marked as a full decade since their vocalist, Justin Furstenfeld. In an interview with Spin Magazine, Furstenfeld explained what those first steps of sobirety felt like.
“When you get 90 days you’re like, ‘Holy shit, I’ve lost a little weight and getting a little color back.’ Then you get six months and you’re like, ‘Oh, you see my cheekbones? Oh, my arms have muscles and I’m waking up.’ Then you get nine months and you feel like the sun hits your face and you feel that glow like when you were a kid,” he said.
Tour dates for Blue October are listed below, including the El Paso, TX show which will have tickets available June 17th. Pre-sale tickets are now available via the band.

The band consists of vocalist Justin Furstenfeld, multi-instrumentalist Ryan Delahoussaye, guitarist Will Knaak, bassist Matt Noveskey, and drummer Jeremy Furstenfeld.
